Movie Sneak: The Rocker 
The Rocker tells the story of a failed drummer who is given a second chance at fame. Robert "Fish" Fishman is the extremely dedicated and astoundingly passionate drummer for the eighties hair band Vesuvius, who is living the rock n' roll dream until he is unceremoniously kicked out of the band. Twenty years after his rock star fantasies are destroyed, just when Fish has finally given up all hope, he hears that his nephew's high school rock band A.D.D. is looking for a new drummer. They reluctantly make him the newest member of the band, giving him a chance to reclaim the rock God throne he's always thought he deserved, and taking the young band along for the ride of their lives. Join Nfocus for Model Behavior 2008 as we celebrate fashion and philanthropy while honoring ten local nonprofits! From 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2008, the lobby of spectacular Union Station Hotel will be transformed into the ultimate runway show and fashion experience. Nfocus is pleased to announce top designer Gustavo Cadile will be premiering his Fall 2008 collection at Model Behavior, with models provided by Reflection Model and Talent. DJ Mindub will spin the fiercest tunes as the models strut the catwalk for the debut of Cadile’s new line. NSCC Foundation's 5th Annual Sweethearts for Scholarships Gala
The Nashville State Community College Foundation is holding its Fifth Annual "Sweethearts for Scholarships" Gala Friday, Feb. 8, at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel.
The gala is one of the ways the Foundation raises money to go towards scholarships for students at Nashville State Community College, a two-year college with campuses on White Bridge Road and at 1162 Foster Ave., in southeast Davidson County.
